3 things other than Vitamin D that can help you get your levels up

Before we start, receptors are basically like parking spots on our cells.

And to this point, did you know that Vitamin D receptors in our cellular membranes can become clogged?

Sometimes things other than Vitamin D park in its parking spot (including this like Epstein Barr aka EBVt. When Vitamin D comes home after a long workday, it can’t park in its spot because something is in the way. So our body will think it has enough and down-regulate D, making our levels look low.

*Luckily, there are a few things that can clean up Vitamin D’s parking spot. This can be helpful leading up to preconception and before trying to conceive. They include:

✨Curcumin

✨Carnosic acid

✨Ursolic Acid

*You can get these compounds from things like:

✨Turmeric

✨Rosemary

✨Sage

Turmeric can be used as its whole root in juices and teas, and used as a seasoning in many dishes. Rosemary and sage can be used as seasonings and infused into olive oil as a finishing oil.
