New and Improved Recipe: Guava-Lime Gummies

food guava lime recipe

Okay everyone! Here’s the recipe for Guava-Lime Gummies.
*
I love having these as a snack throughout the day. They’re also great hiking snacks (as long as it’s not too hot). Plus, they're a great source of Vitamin ©️ and have beneficial amino acids like glycine, important for detox and whose needs increase exponentially during pregnancy!

INGREDIENTS:
*
〰️½ cup hydrolyzed gelatin (I use @saturee_official - you can use code INNATE for 5% off)
〰️1 cup filtered water
〰️1 cup cane sugar
〰️¾ cup Santa Cruz limeade (I KNOW the ingredients aren’t perfect, but hey, we gotta live)
〰️¾ cup Ceres guava juice
〰️Juice of 1 whole large lime (or 2 smaller ones)
*
DIRECTIONS:
*
1. Bloom the gelatin by mixing it into a bowl with the filtered water. Allow to sit for 10-15 minutes.
2. Add sugar and juice to a pot or large saucepan. Stir on medium heat until completely dissolved.
3. Add bloomed gelatin and lime juice to the mixture. Stir on medium heat until completely dissolved, for about 10-15 minutes.
4. Once dissolved, transfer to molds or a glass pyrex. Let sit overnight or transfer to the fridge for ~3 hours to firm up.

Enjoy!
