3 FOODS FOR IMPROVING EGG QUALITY

When I talked about the connection between progesterone levels and egg quality a few weeks ago, you had tons of questions. The primary one being, “how can I increase my egg quality?”

While nutrition isn’t the only thing that can improve egg quality, eating nutrient-rich foods are definitely a great way. Here are 3 of my favorite egg-quality-boosting foods:

*🥚EGGS

Have you ever heard the phrase, “like supports like”? Well, guess what?! The eggs that you usually eat for breakfast also contain many, many of the same nutrients that you require for optimal egg health. You’ve just been given one more reason to have your favorite scramble in the morning. :)

*🫐 BLUEBERRIES

Blueberries are rich in Vit. C, which is important for progesterone production, but also antiöxiants called anthocyanins. These also contain fructose, which can help with healthy blood sugar response (also very important for fertility) versus starchier carbohydrates. I love to add these to smoothies or porridge.

*🍶 BROTH

Vegetable or bone broth, especially homemade ones, can be an incredibly rich source of minerals, including magnesium. This mighty mineral is required for making energy. And if you’ve seen my other posts on the topic, egg quality requires egg energy. So drink up!
