5 Fertility-Supportive Snacks

Save this post for the next time you're at the supermarket! Here are 5 fertility-supportive snacks that you can eat at home or on-the-go!

*Full-Fat Yogurt + Blueberries

Full-fat dairy versus low or non-fat dairy  is associated with increased fertility. Blueberries contain Vitamin C which is important for progesterone production.

*Pork Rinds (Chicharrones) + Pumpkin Squeezy

Pork rinds are high in glycine, a type of protein that’s very important for supporting the growth of your baby and the stretching of your skin. Pumpkin contains antioxidants which are great for improving egg quality and reducing inflammation.

*Hummus + Crudite

Hummus can be a great source of Folate, which is very important for fertility and the healthy growth and development of your baby. Chopped veggies provide additional antioxidants and are a great source of fiber which help us remove toxins and excess hormones.

*Smoked Oysters + Plantain Chips

Oysters contain several nutrients important for fertility like Copper, Zinc, Selenium, Vitamin B12, Iron, and others. Plantains cooked in stable fats like coconut oil can be a great source of Potassium and fiber too.

*Seaweed Snacks

This sea vegetable is packed with many minerals, including Iodine, which is super important for female fertility and the normal development of your baby’s thyroid and brain.
