Copper Can’t Function Properly Without Real Vitamin A (Retinol)

Copper is an essential nutrient for overall metabolic function and whole-body health. But it means nothing unless it’s in its bioavailable form, Ceruloplasmin.
🔸
What activates Copper and allows it to become one of the most powerful enzymes in the body? REAL Vitamin A (Retinol).
🔸
Retinol is what loads Copper into this enzyme. Without it, Copper cannot become Ceruloplasmin. Metabolism will slow. Iron will store. Oxidative stress will occur. So on and so forth.
🔸
This is where plant-based and low-fat diets fall short in a major way.
🔸
Of course Copper metabolism is more complex than this, but THIS is one of the many reasons you can’t just take a Copper supplement. No nutrient works alone in the human body, which is sophisticated as heck and way smarter than we give it credit for.
🔸
What’s one of my favorite ways to get both Copper AND real Vitamin A? BEEF LIVER.
🔸
Just one serving of beef liver contains:
🔸
9.8 mg of Copper (488% RDI)
6582 IU of Vitamin A (731% RDI)
🔸
So eat up and ENJOY!
