I wish more women knew that their vaginal microbiome could make or break their ability to get pregnant.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I’ve been beating this drum for a while.

Your yoni has a microbiome - yup. And it contains strains of bacteria that work really hard to keep your vaginal pH balanced.

This matters because when balanced, your vaginal pH:

πŸ₯Š Keeps infections at bay (think UTIs, yeast infections, bacterial vaginosis, etc.).

🌟 Creates the perfect environment for your partner’s sperm to meet your egg.

When your vaginal pH is imbalanced:

πŸ“‰ You may experience frequent vaginal infections.

πŸ’” Your partner’s sperm may not be able to meet your egg as easily, and you may have difficulty getting pregnant.

So what are a few things you can do to support your vaginal microbiome?

βœ…Be mindful of what you put inside and make sure your period products are non-toxic.

βœ… Be mindful of what you put around it and make sure you wear breathable materials.

βœ… Be mindful of your personal hygiene when using the bathroom, experiencing intimacy and after workouts.
