Want more balanced hormones? Get sunlight in the morning.

balancing hormones circadium rhythm cortisol nutrients

When it comes to “balancing” hormones, the basics are essential. And one of the most foundational aspects of hormonal health is — surprisingly — sunlight.

~45 minutes after we wake up is when our cortisol should reach its highest level of the day and declines over the remainder of the day.🌞 Cortisol should be lowest at night.🌙

Supporting our cortisol awakening response can set up our hormonal rhythm for success for the day. We might experience:

↬Optimal hormone production

↬Stable energy

↬Less anxiety

↬Better sleep

↬Improved immun3 function

Now, some of you might be confused because most of the time anyone talks about cortisol, it’s usually about its negative aspects. But these are usually associated with chronically elevated and/or excess cortisol. Cortisol is still a very important hormone for the human body. And when it comes to all hormones, it’s all about sweet spots.

Many of us live our lives with dysregulated circadian rhythms. But it doesn’t have to be this way! There are so many FREE tools available to us, like sunlight. :)

When I get sunlight first thing in the morning, I personally notice a huge difference in all of the above.

So what do you say? Will you try getting sunlight in the AM?
