You got pregnant once already, so the second time should be easy, right?

Unfortunately for a lot of women, this isn’t the case.

Secondary infertility happens when you have trouble conceiving after having successfully become pregnant at least once before.

And it accounts for more than 50% of all infertility cases in the US.

Women who experience secondary infertility might hear “At least you got pregnant once.” But it makes it no easier. No lighter. No less painful.
